Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that he chose not to engage in verbal sparring with the opposition as his party has numerous welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. In response to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intent to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai. He emphasized the government's commitment to inclusive development and secular values, drawing inspiration from historical figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar highlighted various state initiatives including the Jan Sanman Yatra which raises awareness about government schemes, such as the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana providing financial assistance to hardworking women. He also mentioned schemes like free education for girls, electricity bill waivers for farmers, and crop insurance for a nominal fee. Additionally, Pawar pointed out subsidies on milk, increased honorariums for various positions, and reiterated the government's dedication to the welfare of all regardless of caste, religion, region, or language.He conveyed that if the Mahayuti receives support in the upcoming elections, all these plans will extend for the next five years. "I urge you to support and endorse Mahayuti in this election," he requested.
